Wouldn’t the whole online shopping experience be better if you could be told when the specific item you want is on sale?

If you’re like me, you’re already registered with several online shopping websites in the hope that the store will email you when they have a sale. Do you then get frustrated when you receive emails saying for instance “25-50% off All Toys” and in the fine print it says “excludes Lego, Barbie” etc? Those exclusions are so frustrating because if you had registered with the store to buy Lego for your nephew’s next birthday, then that email is ultimately worthless to you.

Here’s another example of an email I’ve received in the past “Half price off women’s clothing” and in the fine print it says “selected styles” only. This kind of email is even more frustrating than the previous email, because it means I have to go to the store’s website, search for the dress I wanted and check the price manually.

That’s why I developed Price Snitch. I wanted to know when the sweater I wanted to buy was on sale and not anything else. I didn’t want my inbox to be swamped with emails telling me that everything in store except my sweater was on sale.
